Jackson Charles is earthside - UPDATE #17 (birth story)

He was born Thursday, October 12th at 10:31pm, via cesarean. So my VBAC didn't work out the way I had hoped, but I walked away feeling that I did what needed to be done to have he and I as healthy as possible.

He weighed 10lbs 2oz (our smallest!), was 21 3/4 inches long and had a 37cm head. But most importantly, he's adorable, he loves nursing and he loves cosleeping. I'm in heaven and absolutely in love

I'll be writing out his birth story shortly. Just wanted to update in the meantime.

Thank you to everyone for your support and encouragement, especially through the last few weeks. I can't wait to be sharing baby stories with all of you!

He is adorable - love his chubbiness! My MW told me this babe will more than likely supass my 9lb dd - we'll see! Congratulations and enjoy your babymoon! Can't wait to hear your birth story! : , baby!!!

Amanda...I'm SO glad I saw your post before I went to bed. You & your DS have been on my heart & in my thoughts.

I almost...scratch that-I'm shedding a few tears of joy that your little one is here safe & sound and in your arms. He's BEAUTIFUL!!!!
