Anyone else still working?

I just don't want to go to work tomorrow. I really don't. I am so fed up. I'm sick of unproductive cx and sleepless nights and I'm ready to cry at the thought of getting up at 6 to be in at 7.

I quit work and went on disability before ds was born. I simply didn't have much energy anymore, and my doula told me my OB would give whatever orders I needed to start the disability payments since they didn't want me going into labor exhausted. Check out your options - you may be able to quit now.

I can't quit, I am soon to be providing for a family of four! But you would think that they would give me a week off prior to my due date... something.

I didn't quit-quit until the end of my 12-week leave. If you have disability, you don't have to wait until the baby is born to start using it. My disability paid for the 10 days prior to ds's birth plus six weeks afterwards.

I worked up until my due dat with DS. Luckily, he came a week and a half later, so I had a little time to rest first. However, I totally understand what you feel. I hated to go to work those last few weeks. On the other hand, the days I spent at home seemed to last forever and didn't help my impatience much either. It is just an uncomfortable, impatient time either way. With this baby (baby #2), I do find a bit more patience than last time, plus DS keeps me busy. I know it will pass before I know it. I'm with you on the cx too - I have them all day long and through the nights. Whew!

I've been temping throughout this pregnancy and worked yesterday. Today was my due date. I don't think I'll get called in again, though, cause the temp agency and the place that usually asks for me both know I'll go any time now. I sure could use the cash, though.
