Thinking about at least delaying

My twins' two month check up is tomorrow. I want to at least delay and do more research. How do I say it to their doc (fam. doctor, I haven't told him yet) and do I need an exemption yet? If I do, how do I get one?
Thanks!

You shouldn't need an exemption yet, but it's always good to write something out or have an idea of what you would say in advance.

Just say you are still researching and let that be it. Or, skip it.

i woudl just tell him that you aren't comfortable with vax's yet, as you are still trying to decide what you want to do.

but like the pp, if you arent sure of his position, i would prob. just cancel the appt.

I did go and told him that. That's about all I could get out, LOL. They treated me like I was stupid. We're looking for a new doc now.

Don't you just love it?!?!? I LOVE the medical field....more reminders of why I refuse to work in it anymore. Remember, you can't take out what's been put in, so delaying while you do your research will NOT hurt anything at all.

sorry you were treated badly but I am glad you are researching this before making any permanent decisions. I hope you find a better ped who will respect you for making an informed choice.

Thank you! That's what I thought. DH is mad, he said "I just dpn't get why they would make you do it when you say you're uncomfortable with it."
We're having problems finding a doc. I'm taking a break from lookiing - I've been yelled at enough for now.

*hugs* There is no reason to ever treat someone as stupid or yell at them for wanting to educate themselves. That just happens when someone has a god complex and thinks their word should just be taken as golden. (Okay, I am a teacher and I love it when my kids question me! And try to help them question everything!)
