shampoo free q's

so i've tried bs and acv twice now, but i'm not sure i'm doing it right. i pour aprox 2 tblspns bs in my palm, add a bit of hot water so it dissolves and then massage my scalp with it. after the shower i spritzed my hair with a little 50% acv mix, or am i supposed to rinse this out? i also put a little coconut oil on the ends. my hair seemed ok.

i have fine straight almost waist length hair. i've been doing my own version of no poo for the past year without even knowing it! after my ds was born i only seemed to find time to wash my hair once or twice a week. by the time i got more energy back (stupid anemia) my hair no longer felt like it needed washing every other day (my pre baby habit), just twice a week was good, now a year later it only seems greasy/dirty after a week.

thanks for your input!

Try dissolving the baking soda more so it can clean more of your hair, you can even dissolve it in an old shampoo bottle and squirt all over your hair. I personally dissolve it in cheap, lightweight conditioner.

Massage this mixture in, scrub your scalp with your fingerpads, rinse it out. Spray diluted vinegar in your hair, then rinse it out. Dry hair as usual.
