Due Today-- the 17th???

I am!

I know there are several of us due today.

So Yay us!

I have mixed feelings. Sometimes I feel disappointed because I thought this baby would come early (um, guess I was WRONG there, lol!) and then I feel excited because I know it will be SOON-- maybe TODAY-- and then I feel discouraged again when I realize it could be another TWO WEEKS.

So here are some happy imminent labor vibes for all of us!!! :

My due date is a week from today - but I know how you feel. I'm trying to expect this one to be fairly late, but I still get my hopes up when the cntx get regular.

Today WAS my due date. So I still feel a little nostalgic about the date. Instead my little guy came 4 days early. To all of you due today, and beyond, sending you all good birthing baby vibes! They will be here soon!

Thanks OMama, I'll take all the "go-into-labor" vibes I can get! I am starting to get antsy waiting to see my baby. I was hoping it might be today. I have been having a lot of random but convincing contractions the last couple of days but I know it means nothing particular . . .

Happy due date! Sending some quick and easy labors vibes your way!!!!

Sending oodles of labour vibes to you, mama! I went three days beyond my 'due date' after having birthed at 39 and 38 weeks with the other two. It was so frustrating, because I had set myself up to believe that this one would come early, too. But you know, the last few weeks are HARD, no matter how you look at them. Your little one will be here before you know it

As I type this it is 34 minutes past my due date. I was actually really happy to finally have today get here. It's like I've achieved a milestone. Even though I know I could go another two weeks, I'm totally cool with having gotten here, and now beyond. I haven't had anything I'd call contractions. Sometimes there's a tightening or wadding up feeling, but nothing that lasts for any significant amount of time and certainly with no regularity. There's a storm system coming through Thursday night and a new moon this weekend, so I'm thinking I won't make it to Monday without at least starting labor. Of course, I'm kinda bummed about that cause my OB, whom I love, is going out of town Thursday morning and won't be back till Sunday. A Sunday delivery would be okay! Of course, my FIL is way out of town next week with work, so he'll miss the big event if I wait that long. Bummer. (FIL does not live in town, but within driving distance. He's being flown out to Nevada next week.) I just last night got my stuff packed in a suitcase. I made DH pack his bag two weeks ago, and I've had the labor tools handy, but my stuff was just folded up on the glider till last night. I still have to pack the little one's going home outfit. In fact, I'm going to iron it right now. And tomorrow I hope to finish his booties. Nothing like the last minute, eh?

Today is my due date too. I've just been trying to do things to keep busy-keep my mind off of thinking every little thing is 'it'. I went to Target and bought a new hat (only thing I could figure will fit even when I'm not pregnant.) My midwife came over today for my appt and we didn't make one for next week so hopefully, she's right, lol.

The worst part is that I'm so ready but we NO idea of names!

Today is my due date too.. only 45 more minutes until this baby is "overdue". I also feel like I have reached a milestone, hitting my due date. I KNOW this baby has to be coming soon now. I had some strong prelabor cx last wendsday (4 hrs worth) that I thought was it, but they obviously weren't the main event. I had guessed the 17th or 18th (not too late for the 18th!) but my DH said the baby would be born on the 20th because both our bdays are on the 20th of different months. So we will see. I am right here with you ladies and sending and receiving all those wonderful labor vibes. Who knows, maybe tomorrow or the next day we could be holding our beautiful new babies!! It is so exciting : Good luck!!

Thanks Earthy~Mama and Deleria!

And to the rest of us-- congratulations on getting to your due date! That's (almost) nine months of eating healthfully and conscientiously, avoiding second-hand smoke and alcohol, getting appropriate exercise and rest, trudging to and from prenatal appointments, and enduring untold pregnancy symptoms including nausea, heartburn, frequent need to pee and all kinds of little aches and pains . . . so yay for us!

Now let's get those labor-y vibes going! It has been cold and rainy here, so yesterday I went to the mall and did a couple of laps of walking with my toddler-- then later that night I ran up and down the stairs some-- but no luck yet. At least the exercise is good for me anyway!

We are running out of time to get a Libra-baby . . . I think the Sun goes into Scorpio starting on Monday the 23rd? Anyone think their baby might be waiting to be a Scorpio? I have no idea here . . . Halloween is exactly two weeks past my due date, which would be a great birthday, but I'd rather not wait that long.

Just trying to stay positive here-- it is hard to believe I am really going to see this baby soon!

well, 4 years ago...today was my due date! DD2 celebrates her bday tomorrow!

Wishing you mammas lots of easy labor vibes & patience too!

I love my libra girls but scorpios aren't bad either (2 libras and 3 scorps in this house!), they are just real intense & I should know seeing as I am one of them! :

It'll be soon really soon...

My ds is a scorpio and we were really hoping for some balance intead of more intensity Actually it's my dp who is really fixated on this. He's terrified to have a scorpio girl. Well, if scorpio doesn't start til monday, i've got a better chance. Ds was 5 days late- which puts me on sunday. I'm actually fine w/ just a healthy baby but I'm anxiuos to meet her now!! lol.
---um, no offense to any scorpio ladies around here

Okay, so for those interested, the sun moves into Scorpio at 9:26am EST on the 23rd.

Of course, if you want to get really technical, any of these babies are going to have a melding of the Libra and Scorpio qualities because they will be born on a cusp...not to mention we're not even talking moon signs...if you want to get technical.

Not to turn this into an astrology debate, but there are two schools of thought on cusps, and I belong to the camp that believes that there is no such thing as a cusp influence-- it's black or white, Scorpio or Libra, to me. I am a cusp baby myself-- born the same day that Pisces changes to Aries, but I am definitely sun in Pisces, not a mix.

I will be very interested to see what the other planetary positions and the rising sign are too . . .
