How do I get the STINK out of DHs clothes?

DH works at a machine shop and his clothes stink like oil and grease. I have tried washing his clothes with different combinations of baking soda, Charlie's soap, and regular detergent with and without fabric softner. Any suggestions? I am willing to try anything!

I think Oxyclean may do the trick.

Simple Green is great for getting grease out of clothes! You can use it as a pretreatment, sprayed directly on and then add it (with your regular detergent) to the wash cycle. Dawn dish detergent (or any other one that cuts grease) may help break down the greasey stains too, just scrub it on with a toothbrush.

I had some Dawn, so I just used aprox. 2 tbsp. of that instead of detergent and......it WORKED! No more stinky clothes!!

A little CitriSolve added to laundry gets out any funky smells, oil, grease, or other weirdness. And it smells nice and orangey.
