I was thinking of her this morning, too. I'm thinking that she's probably busy with a newborn, like you said, Michele.

Hope to hear from you soon, Anita!

Missing Anita
I'm BACK!!!

Typing quickly while I have a moment.

I was so depressed being almost 43 weeks past due, I was truly sad that my body wasn't kicking in on it's own. I stopped going online after 42 weeks.

You can read some of what I was feeling at my live journal.

I will post more about my birth story, but basically after doing the homeopathics, castor oil and such to no avail at 43 weeks post dates, I went in for an induction on the 25th. Prior to them giving me the pitocin, I was contracting on my own and my water broke with a LOT of thick meconium (sp). The babe did not tolerate the pit and kept having decels-it was very unnerving to say the least. I eventually had a c-section : which was VERY scary to me, BUT I have a beautiful healthy boy : ...

ETHAN AARON, 8lbs 14ou 20.10 inches long.

Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers-I will post more when this little guy lets me...

Enjoy getting to know Ethan!!

Oh, wow! I've been checking every day to see an update from you. I'm so glad to hear that Ethan is earthside and doing well. Congratulations!

I know how scary c-sections can be, especially when they're unplanned. I cried before both of mine, but truly feel like I made the best decision at the time. In the end, I have three beautiful children - two by cesarean - and that's the most important thing to me when I look back. Still, it's important to deal with all the emotions surrounding a less-than-perfect birth experience. If you ever need to talk I'm always here

WooHoo!! Congratulations!!! I was thinking of you every day and hoping the reason you weren't posting was that you were busy with your baby. I am so happy for you!
