Ummm.. yet another name thread!

We still haven't picked a name. Well we did, then it got tossed out, then we agreed on another, now I don't like it. hormones???

I fully blame DH, he is quite picky and way to "normal". He wants only popular names that cannot be made fun of in any way. Veryyyyyyy picky.

Eric Mathew was what we ended up with. Daniel Lucas is what we started with. I love the meanings of Daniel Lucas so I was fine with it even though it seems boring as heck. I just don't like the name Eric right now, even though I loved it before.

We actually talked about switching DS1's names. I really love Andrew but DH didn't so we named DS1 Ethan Andrew ... We've actually discussed calling DS2 Andrew Ethan How insane are we????

But who would ever really know?

mmmm... I need more sleep so I can think properly!

Maybe when you meet him the right name will just sort of stand out. You could go there with your list of finalist names and see what baby's personality dictates once you meet him.

No advice here, I agree with Mandi! Maybe when he is born you will just sort of know!

My friend put names in a hat and did it that way - NO, I am NOT kidding! Seriously though - I agree with pp - wait and see - maybe you'll look at him and be like, "Welcome to the world _____" Good luck!

We're waiting and seeing. We've got a list of finalists, and we also each have a few names that one likes but the other isn't too fond of. No one seems to believe us when we say we don't have a name, either that or they get all panicky for us. We just want to wait till he gets here 'cause we figure he'll let us know what a good name is. Worked for our dogs, anyway

We went back and forth forever it seemed, then just kinda stopped talking/worrying about it. Finally I started getting anxious about it and brought it up again. My dh kept saying Hercules Xavier for a boy and I told him I'd consider talking to him about that after HE pushed this baby out, rofl!

We finally decided that since this baby and our family went thru so much w/losing it's siblings, we needed to have a very strong name, girl or boy. We decided Phoenyx is very appropriate for this child.

Alexander Phoenyx for a boy. Aaralyn Phoenyx for a girl.

We don't even have a short list, we have nada for names. Sometimes I start to freak about it. I'm hoping once we see this little person her/his name will be obvious.

Chicky2, those are great names!!
