OK guys... these don't feel too good at all...

For like half hour now I have been having the most painful contx like every 5min or so. I am shaking like crazy too. Remember me wishing for the kind of contx that make you need something to hold onto? Well I changed my mind. I actually hurt up inside me not just my uterus. I don't even remember that before. I really hope he turns anterior. Of course I am in denial cause I haven't even told dh I have been having anything going on. The bottom ring in the pool needs to be reblown up and of course water put in it. But what if I do it all for nothing???? But when the heck do you really know? Sigh.

If this is real I can do this again right?????

Breathe! YES, you can do this again! Your body knows just what it is doing. As far as the pool - if this doesn't turn out to be "it" (though it certainly sounds like it may be) you can have a nice long soak in the tub and relax. Wake up dh - it sounds like you need some support and someone to hold on to for these contractions...once again...BREATHE and keep telling yourself, "I can do this!" You are amazing, Mama! HTH and good luck! Here are some encouraging smileys for you:

well i finally got him up and he is getting it all set up.

my boy needs to go to sleep. He has been awake in his room since 1:30am. He is autistic and can have weird sleep patterns but dang... this is crazy. He is going to be so tired when the van comes to get him for school in 4hrs.

Thank you.

If this doesn't turn out to be it... I am totally never going to want it to be it again.

My dd also woke up when my water broke last week so I take it as a good sign he is awake! Sending happy labor vibes your way! Keep us posted - I am awake from preggo insomnia so I will keep checking on you and providing encouragement as you need it! WAY TO GO, MAMA!!!

I really hate that my last birth was only 3hrs total. And that my one before that was 21hrs. Especially since my 21hr labor was my nuchal hand, need 250 stitches birth. Cause with his position of course I am not expecting another 3hr birth... nor can I say I really want one... but I don't want a 21hr one either! LOL

Well...lets hope for somewhere around 7 hours? That's a good compromise, right? I know my friend had an anterior babe and they told her to get on her hands an knees to relieve some of the pressure she was feeling...I am sure you knew that already...I'll bet you are getting excited to meet your little one!
