J.R. Liggett's

Not sure if anyone has tried any J.R. Liggett's products but they are awesome! I ordered 2 Tea Tree & Hemp oil shampoo bars, unscented face and body wash and skin repair cream. I used them all last night and they are great. The shampoo bar made my hair feel soo nice and clean and it was great for my scalp. I tend to have a dry scalp and this worked wonders on it, plus it smells sooo good! The bars are small but it says on the package that it has the same amount of use as a 24Oz. bottle of liquid shampoo! It claims on the site that you don't even have to use conditioner with it but I have long hair and def. needed the conditioner. Still though I am so happy I found this and it is going to be so nice for traveling and camping! The face and body wash is really nice, it left my skin feeling clean and soft and the skin repair cream smells soo yummy and left my lips and elbows super soft.

Anyway if any of you have a chance I would totally recommend trying these products, I really like them!

I love their shampoo bars, its all we use, that and apple cidar vinegar instead of conditioner. I haven't tried the other stuff though. I'll add that my DH used dandruff shampoos religously and always had scalp problems, since using Liggetts he is 100% better! It is a miracle shampoo. I have been looking for it in health food stores, and trying to get some stores in my area to carry it, but no one does yet, I know it would wipe the other natural shampoos out of comission.

Thanks for the head's up. I've only tried one shampoo bar in the past, as well as black soap from Africa (Senegal, actually), which did fine for me, but not "it". I'm looking into this, because I prefer natural all the way, and am getting all the sulfates out of the house that I can (hubby is resistant because he's unwilling to listen to reason or read labels and what they mean). J.R.'s stuff sounds award-winning, AND is reasonably priced! Having grown up in a salon, and now working in one, only ONE hairdresser is in agreement w/ natural products. The rest all swear by salon products because of commissions, and lack of alternatives or ignorance.

^I have always done poorly with the expensive salon shampoos. They always tend to make my scalp and hair dry.

I have tried the burts bees shampoo bars and didn't like them near as much. The lather with J.R.'s is awesome and I just love how my hair feels afterward. I am excited to use it again tonight! It is amazing how much better my hair and scalp feel after just one use! And for $6 a bar it is a great deal!

I have used this bar as well. If you go through Amazon (MotherNature), I think the bar sells for <$4.
