Need ideas on PreK materials for a WOHM

To make a long story short, dd has been home with me her whole life. My mom got sick, so I'm working to help her out (they own a biz) and my SIL has been caring for my little ones. I put dd in PreK with my nephew because I'm back at work.
She HATES it. She likes playing, but has been begging to just stay home, and she's already has had a cold, and the flu. (gotta love people who send their sick kids to school : )

Anyhoo, I need a curriculum to use with her that will allow me to teach her when I'm home, or if I bring her with me to work. (nice thing about working for mom & dad )

I prefer something that is good, but wont require me to spend every minute working with her.. because with 5 kids, and only being home part time now, I need to divide my time up as much as possible.

Thanks~ Jodi

Jodi-- you can totally do it! What kinds of things is she interested in? A great place to start is LillianJ's site www.besthomeschooling.org. Is she a sit down quietly kind of person or a more tactile/kinetic sort?

If you want to try a boxed-type thing, the Brighter Visions folks will send a free shipment (craft, workbook, storybook on a theme) to see if you like it.

Also, time savers like cooking a lot at a time and freezing it or using a crockpot can be lifesavers when you come in the door and you and the kids are starving.

Great, I'll have to check out that site, thanks!

I wish I had more crockpot recipes, but to be honest, the only things that ever get made in mine are roast and bbq.
