So what are you eating?

Oh my, my obsession with food has not ended with the birth of J! I am starved nearly all the time. I have stopped the snacking at 3 am. Breastfeeding never made me this hungry b4. Worst of all, I am eating a lot of junk, since it is so easy to grab and eat. I haven't had time to cut up celery and carrots and make whole wheat snacks. On the up side, I have 20+ bags of stored breastmilk in the freezer.
Anyone else starved or is it just me? Not typically a stress eater.
Today I have eaten a 2 egg omlette with cheese and ham, 1 slice whole wheat toast (no butter!) several chocolate chip cookies, a granola bar, 2 whole wheat blueberry pancakes and juice. Not all in one sitting, but I wonder what is for lunch? hmmm....

constantly starving around here!! i have never had such an enormous appetite. i can eat my dh under the table in no time!

i have found food to be challenge pp because i dont have the time to eat as well as i would like, or like i did before the baby arrived. it's all about timing these days... i eat when i can and cook when i can. we try to do alot of cooking on the weekends so that we have good stuff to eat during the week when dh is at work.

and the food elimination for breastfeeding has also thrown me for a loop... no dairy , onion, peppers. these were my staples! so sad! so i tend to be in a food rut these days, lacking creativity and mourning my old diet! oh well!

so for now, i am eating... ancient grains cereal, salads, graham crackers with peanut butter (yum), lots of pasta, butternut squash soup, lots of soups actually, and whatever i can grab in a pinch!

This is my third baby and by far the hungriest I've been. I wake up just starving in the middle of the night. I'm also thirsty and am having to really make an effort to drink enough during the day. I'm eating whatever I can get my hands on quick, usually leftovers for lunch. I admit I've been eating a good bit of junk, as well. A group of ladies from my church has been bringing 3 meals a week and there is almost always dessert included with that. We normally have a piece of fruit for dessert, so this is quite a difference (my older kids LOVE it! ). The meals that they bring are usually pretty big, so there have been lots of left-overs. In fact, I think we've only cooked 2 meals in the last month.
Oh, and my mom introduced me to the temptation that is dark chocolate M&M's.

I was always starving with ds. I also didn't STOP the eating when he stopped BF. This time around I am throughly sick of my own cooking so I am trying to add in only new recipes and not cook anything "old". I only eat 3-4 small meals a day though. I LOVE the junk food though and its my treat to myself for dealing with 2 kids and not breaking down!! Usually a few mini doughnuts and a moon pie (yum!) i also love the dark choc m&m'S!!! omg!

but breakfast is a bowl of cereal, lunch is either leftovers or a lean pocket, a snack in the afternoon but usually junky and then either leftovers for dinner or a small dinner. like last night i had only one fajita for dinner! i hope to keep my portions down as i used to eat anyone under the table but am finding my metabolism is definatly slowing down!

trying to add 2 glasses of milk everyday before a meal to help me feel fuller and not eat myself out of house and home!

Starving here too! And super thirsty as well.

And learning to eat and avoid both oats and Soy Flour is hard - they put soy flour in nearly everything, I'm finding. I'm not 100% sure she is intolerant of the soy - but it seemed to be the most likely culprit so we're cutting it out for a while, then I'll try it again.

I normally kinda graze throughout the day muching on cereal and snack items. Breakfast is normally bacon, eggs, toast, and juice. Lunch is whatever I can make easy that sounds good, and dinner is my big meal.
