Dear ER, I hate you! The magic is gone. Don't call me anymore. - Page 2

Why can't they just use a doll baby for the nursing scenes. On "Mad about You" a few years ago, they showed Jamie nursing all the time, and Helen Hunt isn't a mom.
What is the e-mail address for "ER"? I was thinking about writing them after that last episode where she gave the baby a bottle after she came off the ventilator too. In fact, after that scene, I was just too annoyed and turned it off.

actually it is my understanding that it IS alex Kingston's daughter...
that's what makes this even crazier...

oh, I bet that she isn't nursing her baby in real life then.

Have you noticed in the scenes where she is home at night that she wears these nightgowns with no openings whatsoever?

yes, from what i have heard/ read, it is her baby in real life.
and to make the crying so drawn out, they are using all different cameras from different angles then stringing it all together (hence all the different shots and angles). this way they don't have to keep the baby crying for so long, just loop and reloop the same cries and tears.
hope that makes some of you feel a bit better about that poor baby crying her heart out!
and i do nurse, but i wear buttondown PJs, so there are no openings on my pajamas either (but i haven't noticed elizabeth's PJs, to be honest...)
