...Zakai Vijay arrived 4 days "late" on 10/15 - hypnobirthing worked so well that if I hadn't insisted on leaving for the birth center when we did, I don't think we would have had time to fill the tub! Zakai's little shoulders got stuck so the midwife really had to tug hard, but Z is ok & by some miracle, I had only a slight tear. My hips feel like they left their sockets, & afterpains were intense, like reverse labor, but gone now. Z couldn't wait for that milk to come in, which it did in 2 days. He's such a serious looking little person, & I swear he has smiled at us all 3 times when we sing to him. Congrats to all the little Libras!

Congratulations on your little guy's arrival! Sounds like it went fairly smoothly, despite his indecision at shoulder-birthing time I'm glad he's out with only a minor tear. Way to go, mama!!

Welcome little Zakai! What a cool name! Get thee to a good chiropractor to help sort out your hips! get a recommendation from your midwife maybe. It will help you out! Chiropractic helped me a lot with this pregnancy.
