Does anyone know where to find this stat?

I'm pretty sure I've seen it before. I'm looking for the % of how many boys in america are *re-circ'ed* for whatever reason.

And the number of boys/men "needing" circ'ed in non-circ'ing countries is less than 1% correct?

Thanks!

I have seen a number of statistics on the need for repeat surgery after circumcision. I have seen the figure of 1% and 9%. I believe these were AUstralian studies but don't feel like digging them up right now. Also from a survey by the INternational Coalition for Genital Integrity on Medicaid practices in the various U.S. states, which gave a figure of 0.58% (if I'm remembering correctly) incidence of repeat surgery after circumcision. I think a good ball park figure is 1/100, as given in the parent information brochure of the Canadian Paediatric Society. http://www.caringforkids.cps.ca/babies/Circumcision.htm

I think http://www.caringforkids.cps.ca/babies/Circumcision.htm says something about it.
