so now how many are left? - Page 2

My edd is around this coming weekend. I keep forgetting the exact date because I was so determined to not focus on it. My first daughter came right at 40 weeks, but I let myself be talked into inducing my second at 41 weeks. I've had some evenings with hard BH contractions, but that's about all. I was starting to get anxious for him to come out earlier this week, but today and tomorrow I'm actually hoping I can will him NOT to come, because my midwife is out of town speaking at a conference. I haven't met her back-up. Anyway, I was doing a lot of nesting in the last couple of weeks and wore myself out, so now I want to rest up a bit. I'm back to my original feeling, just hoping he comes out by Halloween and has his own birth month (my second daughter and I already share November).

I am still here too ladies. OY! I was "due" on Tuesday and have had some cx and cramping but no baby. I was hoping for today but it doesn't look likely now. My cx have left me for the moment. My mom is getting into town tomorrow night and I have mixed feelings about having her here for the birth (having a homebirth) I was hoping to have the baby before she arrived. But I keep telling myself that things will be how they are meant to be. Plus, I am so hormonal that I keep crying and wishing this baby would come out and my dh is being so sweet and hugging me and loving me and telling the baby its father says it is time to show up And the lovely sick to my stomach all morning is back.. just like at the beginning of pg.. please tell me it will be soon! I just want to hold this little baby in my arms and see it's sweet baby face. awwwww I am so anxious....

I just got back from the midwives and she suggested I insert two evening primrose capsules and take one.

Jumping in, still waiting. Ok, well my "due date" was only yesterday, I'm not complaining yet. I think I was really hoping to go early but being "overdue" has some benefits. My MIL took my 2 yo for the morning so I could clean and get some things done and out of the blue my dear friend arrived, rubber gloves in hand, and proceeded to clean my house! What a lovely surprise. But I'm hoping for this weekend. DH has a busy couple of weeks ahead and we were really really hoping for some good timing with this babe. Anyway, hang in there everyone, I am pretty sure there is no record of anyone staying pregnant forever.

I'm here! EDD is next Tuesday (25th). Unless I get a surprise this weekend, it looks like a little scorpio. DS was "late" too.

I've been putting 3 EPO capsules in a day and taking 3 a day for about 2 weeks now.Good luck to you though

I thought scorpio was just starting on Monday - are you sure it starts late Monday night? Ariahsmum - hang in there. Sending you good birthing vibes!

I'm here. Edd in 2 days. Carried all my babies 'over' so far, and don't expect any different w/this one. My last was 20 days 'over'. Lots of emotional stuff going on w/that one, so maybe this one will be gracious and come a wee bit before that!

I thought Scorpio started on the 23rd but i guess i'm wrong!I was so hoping for a Libra so i guess i have till Sunday, huh? Not that i would seriously be upset with having a Scorpio I will be happy to have a healthy 'any sign' baby
post #31 of 40
Still here but not exactly happy about it (42 weeks and counting). I thought for sure I'd have a Libra, maybe even a Virgo - but a Scorpio??????: Of course if I have the baby on Sunday I won't have to get my husband any other present since that's his birthday too!

Still here as well. My EDD isn't till the 31st, dd was born at 38 weeks so I thought this one would come earlier as well. I really didn't expect to be pg longer then I was with her. Oh well, this baby has other plans.

The sun enters Scorpio at 9:26am (eastern daylight time) on Monday Oct 23. So you have about 48 more hours of Libra.

I'm still here, too.

Not online too much since going on maternity leave at the beginning of the month, but still pregnant indeed.

Tomorrow is my EDD, but I think this baby has its sights set on November. Sigh.

This is my second so I thought I would have had it by now!! My EDDs were either the 19th or the 23rd. Guess it's more like the 23rd. Argh we'll see!

Still here. EDD was 17th. With a weather front and the new moon, I figured something would have happened by now. WARNING TMI!!! I woke up Friday thinking I was having contractions, but it turned out to be diaherra...for three days now. Does that mean anything? Oh, well. I'm officially avoiding people now because I am sick of the "haven't you had that baby yet?!" comments. No, clearly I haven't, thank you for asking. Geesh.

I've heard that it is normal to have a frequent need to "run to the bathroom" for a few days before and on the day of birth. Actually, with DS I experienced that the day before and day of. I felt like I had to run to the bathroom (like I had spicy food or something), but didn't have to go as much as I thought once I got there. I think that you just feel all kinds of activity down there as things get ready to domino. Don't worry
