pro circ site

I am really disturbed about a circumcision support board I found the other day. I know I can't say the name of it or quote from it, so I won't. There is a man on there(who is some kind of mod I believe) who is advising people to actually do it to all their baby boys and even saying that it is a benefit to remove the frenelum and make the circ as tight as possible -- all the way to the base! And to never delay -- to do it as young and tiny as possible. His main reason is that this will give the boy and his future sexual partners greater pleasure!! *gag* This is beyond "circ support" -- this is lies and sickness and sexualization of children. I made a post that was deleted with 20 minutes and then filed a complaint -- but they said they could see nothing perverted or wrong with the post because he is talking about when the child is older and engaging in sex. I am just so disturbed that this terrible person is out there encouraging mothers to recirc to get rid of as much skin as possible and complete removal of the frenelum.

I know the internet has done a lot of good for the inactivism cause, but sometimes I just can't help but hate it...:

Can you find out who hosts that site? Contact them and tell them what is going on.

If you need some tips on who to contact, etc. you can try the Diapering Activism forum. Feel free to PM me the site and I will take a look and see if I can figure out who to contact.

Sounds like another circumfetishist site in disguise as a parenting site.

Well, it is a really big site and there is also an area for parents of intact boys -- I can't believe this smug circumfetishist is allowed to just keep posting such terrible lies. I just got word that he has been there for years though...so I doubt any more complaints I file will go anywhere.

I believe I know which site you're talking about, and I agree - that guy gives me the creeps.

What is frustrating is that the other regular posters there seem to think he is wonderful, and can't seemt o see through his thinly-veiled fetishism. I have not been able to look at that site for years - it makes me sick.

Its probably a birds of a feather sort of thing. You have to be equally sick to frequent a circumcision support board and tout the advantages of your poor little babys' mutilated genitals.

I know the exact site you write of, I don't even need you to tell me.

Majorly something wrong with that place.

I know too. It is amazing how that happens in the middle of a huge parenting site.

You know the worst part? His kids are INTACT!!! He told the story not too long ago. Imagine those poor boys having Dad the psycho.

I do keep an eye on that site because every once in a while an on-the-fence mom-to-be shows up asking for questions and she needs to be shown valid info.

The thing is, they won't stop this because circumcision is so widely accepted that many people STILL perceive it as no big deal.
