Not taking BCP anymore...

...and we have gotten through one month of the ovulation guessing game without getting pregnant. I'm hoping you more experienced ladies can help me out. I need links to any good NFP sites that can help me start the charting temp/CM process. I know little to nothing about NFP (obviously, as I have had two unplanned pregnancies!). Also, any tips or advice you may have is welcome.

Try http://www.fertilityfriend.com/. They offer free basic charting online and also have a 20 lesson course on charting etc for free. You can get the VIP package for about $90 for a year. It is helpful to me.

Fertility friend will give you a good crash course so you can start asap. However I HIGHLY suggest you get a book called "Taking Charge of Your Fertility." It will be your TTC bible. Explains how to chart, types of cervical fluid, everything. It will pretty much teach you everything you need to know. It's a pretty awesome book.

Was this your first month off of the pill? Many women have found that, coming off of the pill, it can take from a couple to several months for their cycle to work the kinks out. Charting will be helpful, so that when you normalize, you'll know, and can get busy gettin'busy!

I know a lot of women here use taking charge of your fertility, but we use "The Art of Natural Family Planning" by the couple to couple league. I think it's completely thorough. Heck, my husband reads my chart as well as I do! Once (actually, the time we conceived ds when we were trying to avoid...) he read it BETTER than I did...
