Anyone ever use flannel for the inner layer near baby?

I love flannel for absorbancy and economy. You are going to use it for the inner layer of a pocket diaper? I think it will be okay as long as you get the legs to roll in (sew the elastic to the PUL/fleece side when you're making them).

Thanks, I always roll the elastic in!
