My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...
This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...
This potty is great - excellent value & performance! (plus it's cute!) My 9 month old DS took to it right away. He is a big boy (30 in. tall - feet not quite on floor - & 27 lbs.) and this is...
To anyone looking for a carrier, BECO is the brand!
I recently had purchased the Gemini, great carrier! It has everything you will ever need and want, its ergonomic, comfy, organic, made...
Does the soft fuzzy side of FOE go out, or the smooth side?? I thought it was the soft side but it got torn up in the wash... the smooth side seems like it would be a bit uncomfy?
When you say that it got torn up in the wash, do you mean that it got pilly? Mine does that. You just have to cut off the little balls of cotton from washing with my prefolds, and it will look as good as new.
The part that looks like an elastic grid goes on the inside. Does that make sense?
I have put the elastic on both ways. The grid side does not really pill much and has not left any marks on our kids. They don't seem to notice. The grid side isn't quite as soft, but it's not really rough either.
I just received some new samples from a manufacturer. They bill their fold over elastic as no-pill. It's grid on both sides. So, either side will work just fine.
I forgot which side I wanted to use the other day (patterned foe), and I put the grid on the outside. It is working just great. Thought I would share that.
I call it patterned, but that might not be the right word. It is yellow with yellow stars on one side, and the other side (grid side) is white with yellow stars. I will try to take a pic and post it. Ds actually got poo in that cover when I put it on him for the first time (ever) today.
The fuzzy stuff was 1" from diapercuts and it drove me crazy with the cutting off the little balls after every wash : Today I got some 3/4" from One Stop Diaper shop that isn't fuzzy and is supposed to hold up well in the wash. Otherwise I'm going to stop using FOE and do the ol' turn and topstich style.
