This is my first post to these forums (just introduced to them this week), so apologies if this is in the wrong place...
I'm looking to change Dr's--at the late state of 35 weeks pregnant!
--and the new Dr. I'm considering practices at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge.
I'm relatively new to the Boston area and I'm having a hard time getting much feedback on birth experiences at Mt. Auburn...most people I know are into the big places like Brigham and BI and N/W. I've heard a couple of third-hand negative comments about Mt. Auburn, but I'm hoping that was just a fluke (?). I really like this new Dr. and the more "natural childbirth oriented" feel at Mt. Auburn, but I'd really prefer to hear some good things about people's experiences there before I switch...
Anyone have anything to share? Specifically, did you find the place clean? Were the nurses attentive? How was the newborn care? What is the reputation of Mt. Auburn like for maternity, etc?
