I was just wondering if there were some sites online with good info that I could download to give to my ped to help educate her a bit? I find myself less than eloquent when visiting the office for WBV and want her to read some info regarding reasons not to vax. I'm sure it's too much to put into simple factsheets but if there's anything out there that you could direct me to, I'd really appreciate it!

yes, I would like this info too... but for my father in law who is a doctor and asking why we are not vax'ing (yet... if ever) and concerned as he "has seen these diseases and doesn't want my little (my daughter) to get them."

Honestly, it is usually a bad idea to engage in discussions like that with a doctor. They generally will just try to dispute anything you say and try to make you feel guilty, scared, or dumb. We usually just smile and say "we are delaying today." One time he asked why, and I said we had our reasons. He said "well, are they good reasons?" in a smart alecky tone, to which I replied "we think so" (me just smiling like an idiot all the time - he leaves me alone when I do that, LoL).
You aren't going to be able to change your doctor's mind. They have years and years of schooling that makes them set in their ways usually. They are also constantly inundated with pharmaceutical propaganda and perks which may skew their opinions a bit. They also are hugely invested monetarily in the system. Imagine having student loans bigger than most mortgages. They have a lot on the line that affects their objectivity, in my opnion.
Honestly, as a scientist, I find many docs to not be able to think critically or understand proper science. They memorize and regurgitate - that's the way to get through med school. (This is no criticism of them as people or of their intelligence, just mainly a criticism of the medical educational system).
