Quick Halloween costume ideas/pattern for 4 yr old boy and a baby girl?

HI,
I decided to have a costume for my son and daughter and since I have only about a week I would like to make something quick. Do you have any quick ideas or patterns that I can use? I'm not great at sewing so I would like something that requires minimal sewing..
FYI, I don't like any scary characters or things...

i made a cute costume for my son when he was about 5. we were actually in a christmas parade, but it was so easy and cute, everyone loved it! i took a big old box and cut a hole in the top for his head, and 2 on the sides for his arms. then i wrapped the box in red xmas paper, put him in a red jacket with a hood and pinned a BIG red bow to his hood. it was sooo cute. you could do maybe a birthday present instead of christmas! hope it helps, its so easy and no sewing!
