Not feeling pregnant?

Anybody else out there not feeling pregnant yet? I'm 5wks today, and I find it really unnerving. With my first two pregnancies, I had severe morning sickness right away... Without any symptoms this time around, I keep wondering if it's really possible that there is a little person growing inside of me. I know this is ridiculous thought, but I can't help but to wonder if I had a miscarriage and don't know it.

Anyway, just wondering if anybody else with previous pregnancies are experiencing different symptoms right off the bat...

With my other 2, by now I had puked up everything within miles!
I'm just so glad that it hasn't started yet!
Let's hope that we can escape it all on our lucky number 3s!!

I'll be 5 weeks tomorrow and still have no symptoms. I can't remember when I started getting sick with my other kids. 6 weeks maybe? It's terrible knowing what's to come. . .

I started this same thread in the I'm Pregnant forum last week. Now I'm 5 weeks and starting to feel it more. I was never very sick with my other three so I'm not expecting anything severe, but I do have some very clear "signs" of pregnancy . . . I am exhausted, I am constipated, I am having the hardest time kicking this cold. But still, I can't help worrying and I'll worry til the baby is born. There's no real way around it.
to you, OP. I hope you get sick really soon. :

I'm pretty tired, and my brain is already getting all mushy. But so far no nausea. Hopefully that lasts but for me it usually dosen't get bad until 6 weeks, so there's still time.

Ok, so if that is a "symptom," I guess count me unenthusiastically "in." I too have the worst cold! Not being able to take medicine I think makes it worse. Thank goodness for small home remedies such as lemon compresses and the neti pot, otherwise I don't think I'd survive! lol!

As a side thought, I wonder if the cold is masking possible symptoms?

My cold has been confusing me too. I call it a "symptom" because your immune system goes kaput with pregnancy. But I can't figure out how much of my exhaustion is due to the cold and how much is the pregnancy.:

And how could I forget to mention my strongest sign . . . my emotions are out of control! It actually started just after ovulation as heavy depression. I dealt with depression after my second and third children were born and it was just like that. Kind of scared me and we actually decided to STOP ttc since, apparently, my depression was coming back. Then the next week the mood SWINGS started, and ever since I've been a either a crying mess or a scary *itch most of the time.

Can we talk heartburn?!!!

I'm right there with ya on the mood swings, tiredness, starting to get nauseous (I have never in my life spelled that word the same way twice!), crying a bit more than I ever do!!

Oh, did I mention the heartburn?

Oh yeah. So moody! I can go from sweet, loving partner and mommy to growly, snarky, grump goddess in 2 seconds flat.

No heart burn to really speak of yet but again for me that dosen't come 'till later.

Oh I am sooo tired and my stomach was feeling queasy pretty much all day. I am a nanny and today I told the father of the little boy I watch that we were going to go to the pumpkin parm (farm/patch). He thought it was so funny and told us when he was leaving to have fun at the parm. : I think my brain is defintely feeling the effects of this pregnancy.

Hello everyone!

With my first pregnancy I didn't start feeling sick until week 6 (I'm almost 4 weeks now). But, I had conceived twins, so assuming we don't have twins, I'm hoping I won't feel as sick this time.

Also, I know having my dd here to keep me busy and happy will help a ton this time around! Being bored at work definitely didn't help me feel any better last time around!

I didnt get any sickness with my first so *knock on wood* still none yet with this one eaither. I have been more tired than normal, hungry more often, and my emotions are out of control. Picture this....it was about 30 minutes before dinner and my 14 month old brings me popcorn. I wont give her any so she throws a fit. I stand firm, she keeps crying. In the end she got the popcorn and I was a crying mess on the kitchen floor. What is happening to me!!!! LOL!

I'm so glad to find this thread! I'm 5 weeks now and I can't stop worrying about how few symptoms I have. (you can tell if you find my other posts-- I keep mentioning this! ack!) it's really reassuring to know many others at 5 weeks are symptomless. listing what I do have, I'm constipated (which probably is helping suppress my appetite), belly feels occupied, sleeping 10 hours a day and still tired, and very moody in a GROUCHY way! this threw me off; I'm usually teary, but now I see many of you have this too. I don't have any food aversions going (previously garlic was an immediate no-no, along with onions), I don't have a sensitive nose, and I'm not queasy (well, hardly-- teeny waves once in a while, so small that I think, was that nausea? and then it's gone). oh yeah, and my pants that I could wear last week don't fit this week. so when I stop and think, I do have some, I just don't have the ones I remember as being my earliest ones. heck, even if they were, that doesn't mean I had them at 5 weeks! : I'm just determined to worry!

I could have written the same post!!!! That's my number one sign I know I'm pregnant!

Other than my moodiness, I haven't had much in the way of "symptoms". I HAVE been having to pee a lot more though!
Same here. Pretty much the only symptoms I have are wonky vision (same with last time), a little mushy brain (also symptom of mom of a 2 year old), hurting boobs, craving protien (usually just eat a little meat), and sleeplessness. Man, I can't sleep at all. Oh, and I do get up in the middle of the night to go pee already. I think that is helping my no sleep. I sleep fine until 3 or 4, then I can't manage to go back to sleep.

No heartburn or vomiting yet. Does this mean I am having a different sex, or is every pg always super different?

I've been having that same sleeping problem (points at clock), which sucks because I'm so exhausted.

I haven't gotten sick, either - a friend insists that means I am having a boy.
I slept just fine with my boy, and I was already SUPER nauseous. I never threw up with Benji (except for the stomach bug that went around), but I would be nauseous from 10 a.m. to about 2-3 a.m. I was a teacher, and my kids would get mad at me for eating in class right before lunch. I had to tell everyone pretty soon becuase of it, but I don't remember how far along I was.
I take it all back. I am currently willing myself NOT to get sick!!! I think the morning (why they call it that I will never know...it should be all day sickness) sickness is now kicking in! Yuck, but reassuring!
nope, don't feel pregnant - i mean obvious signs are there, i just don't feel pregnant. but i never do.
