Induced labor tied to maternal risk

Well duh. But I wish they'd discuss the other risks a little more thoroughly. Like how interventions are a slippery slope and cause too many moms to end up with a c-section

I would think that if continuing the pregnancy presented a risk to mother or baby it would be induced regardless of whether the pregnancy had reached full-term. This almost makes it sound like being full-term presents a risk that indicates a need for induction.:

I think that many doctors now days, and a few midwives think that a full-term pregnancy is a risk that indicates a need for induction. :
