Plastic straws

I have this oral fixation when drinking any beverage... I have to have a straw! So I buy a multi-pack of colored straws once, and then after using them I put them through the dishwasher. My husband thinks I am nuts! Especially since I always bite the straws.. Maybe he is right!

I wash them too! I carry one in my purse instead of a sippy cup for my DD!

I wash them too and I always travel with a few in my car or purse.
I've been known to take a few extra straws if I order something from a fast-food restaurant or convenient mart. :

I think maybe tupperware or something like that even makes straws that are a bit thicker, so they are supposed to be washed in the dishwasher or sink and resused. We used to have some at home when I was a kid...

I'm also straw addicted...also because I can't have anything cold on my teeth.

i use straws too. cant stand how when you drink ice water in a restaurant the ice falls on your mouth when you are drinking. we got the throw away drink cups with thick plastic straws that we wash over and over and they are great.

If you really want reusable, there are metal straws out there.. or for those non-plastic people

We always washed straws at home too, it's not that weird.
I personally don't like straws much because I like to gulp and I can't get enough liquid up the straw fast-enough. Yay for fat diameter Sonic straws! For some reason they seem to get holes in them really bad though, everytime I save one I only get to use it once or twice.

I always wash my straws also. I put a few in the car in a zip lock bag, for those just incase times.
