I surrender ALL child care duties to DH and feel ZERO guilt. In fact, I feel relieved, refreshed, alive and completely able to enjoy myself.
Because I feel like DS is with his Second Mama.

The only people who have ever taken care of my children are people with whom I want my children to develop a relationship, and from whom I believe my children can learn. KWIM? If my mom or my parents-in-law, or my brother, or my sisters-in-law, or brother-in-law, or even close friends take over my child care duties for a bit, I consider it a blessing both because I get a break (or time to take care of other responsibilities), AND my children and said care giver get the enormous GIFT of a deeper relationship and shared experiences.
So, nope no guilt. I do feel guilty if I find myself focusing on too many small things instead of paying attention to my kids. Then I just refocus and go on.
