Overdoing it, again. Anyone want to trade for beaded barrettes?

Lately I've been overdoing it on beading (one more thing!) and I thought maybe some of you might get some pleasure out of my creations. After all... how many beaded hairclips does one mama and one baby without hair need?

They're peyote stitch, secured to a hairclip with ultrasuede, very sturdy and nice looking. I copied them from some that I saw at a first nations (indian) powwow and they turned out really well. I'll do them in any colour you like -- custom orders fine with me! A single one or pairs of smaller ones. Wish I could post a photo...

I had the most interesting conversation with my 17 year old cousin -- I showed her the barrette and she said "oh it's really nice. What do you do with it?" Then she told me that I had 'eighties hair,' because I have longish hair that I like to wear 1/2 up in a clip! I felt so old! What an eye-opener.

I'm so glad you liked it! They're pretty small, so you can trade for whatever. Cheap materials, something small and fun. I just made a couple with butterflies and am wearing one now.
