Did we catch it in time?

This was my first PP cycle and it has been long (on CD43 right now).

According to FF I O'd on CD40 and DH and I DTD on CC41 in the morning (sorry if TMI). Is there still a chance that we could have caught that egg even though it was a bit past when FF said that I O'd?

I just want to know if I should rule this month out or count myself in for the 2WW.

It depends on which book you read! Some say the day after is too late and others say to be sure to dtd the day after because it may not be too late..
