Just a quick post, will add the birthstory later. Due to pre-e I had to be induced, I now know that pitocin is indeed the devil. : But other than that I had a very good hospital birth. Not the homebirth we planned on, but I don't think it could have been better.

He was born on October 26, 2006 at 3:29am and was 8lbs. 10oz. and was 20 inches long. He's beautiful and I will post pics soon. He was born the day after his EDD

Congrats to those mama's that have had their babies in the past few days, and I hope all the other waiting mamas get to hold their babies soon.

DH, Baby and myself are all doing great. We are so in love with our little boy

Congratulations on Ryan's birth!

Mama, I had a pitocin-induced birth as well with #1 due to pre-e. I'm happy to say that my two subsequent pregnancies showed no signs of high BP or pre-eclampsia. Just wanted you to know that you have no more of a chance of developing it in a subsequent pregnancy than anyone else. Those are the stats, anyway

Congratulations! I had my boy on Monday and he was 8 lb 9 oz. Sorry you had to do the pitocin but glad to hear it all went pretty well. And isn't it great to cuddle your baby! Enjoy your babymoon!
