So I have been having regular contractions now for about 5 hours - they are 10 minutes apart but not getting any more intense. I dropped dd off at day care just in case and went grocery shopping to see if things would pick up - so far nada. I would love to take a long walk outside but it's raining! I just had a good cry though - I feel so silly - I was sure this was "it"...we'll see...

Awww . . .

Even if this isn't "it" I bet it's accomplishing something! Drink a lot of water and eat well. Stay rested in case it is the real thing-- if it is, it won't matter whether you were walking or sleeping. Good luck!

Oh my god... did I just write your post or what?????? My ctx are just cruising along, not getting more intense, just steady and tight feeling. It's almost like I am having one big one that doesn't go away. And the crying, I just put mascara on and now I am wondering what I was thinking!

Wishing this is it for you!!!! Keep moving, drink lots of water! I'll do the same!

Come on babies!!!!

Hang in there, mama! those contractions are doing something and will eventually pick up. I was in early labour for two days, but by the end of the second day was holding baby Jackson. You're going to do great

OK...so all of a sudden right after I got off the phone with my MW telling her there's nothing going on these contractions changed - they feel more like a wave from the bottom of my uterus to the top and are coming closer together. They are also making me feel a little nauseous! Off to make dinner for my adorable dd...send hardcore labor vibes my way...if this works I may have my baby on my EDD - wild, huh?

ColoradoKat - you can have all of the well-wishes and labor vibes... My contractions seem to have turned back into the braxton hicks type : sooooo...it looks like my babe won't be born on her "due date" and I will go late! This is nuts - I have never been this pregnant before! Thanks for the support ladies - I SWEAR it made th econtractions stronger!:
