Where to deliver

Has anybody delivered anywhere other than hospital, home, birthcenter? My friend is having a midwife with this one and doesn't want to deliver in a hospital. She doesn't feel like she will be comfortable or peaceful delivering at home either, and a birthcenter is out of the question. She really wants to labor in a jacuzzi. She is thinking about having the baby in a hotel room. Does anybody have any ideas?

I know not a lot of people have jacuzzis but couldn't she rent a birthing tub?

There are two B&Bs is my area that are friendly to having births there. A local MW used to use one all the time for moms who lived too far away for her to travel to. So the parents would just drive to the B&B, she'd meet them there, have the birth, and they'd go back home when they felt like it.

I would have her look into a homebirth more. You can rent a tub or pool.

Why is she uncomfortable with a homebirth?

Is her MW a homebirth midwife?

I have heard of women delivering in a hotel room or "cabin"
However this rules out the idea that the germs in your home or better for the baby than Foreign germs. I would be concerened about the noise of delivering in a hotel?

If she can birth at home why does she not want to?

She doesn't feel comfortable in her home because she doesn't like where she lives. She lives in a run down trailor. She thinks it will be messy and full of dirty dishes. I guess the energy just doesn't flow right.
I am a little concerned about a hotel room too. I have been brainstorming ideas for her, but not coming up with any.
