I've been saying "boopy doopy doo." It gets a good reaction. I noticed my friend is partial to "choo choo choo." What about you ladies?

Well, I've used the same one both times around. "He;s my goooooood boy!" It always gets a huge smile. And, honestly, I forgot I even used it with ds1 until I said it to ds2 a few days ago and had a total flashback.

I have a whole voice. But every thing is "Y"- milky, poopy, burpy, etc.

Does this count? I call Nate a Beautiful Biddy Baby Buddy Boy with a goofy expression I'm sure.

This is so funny! We watch a lot of the show Pinky Dinky Doo around here, with a two year old in the house, so we started calling Eloise Weezie Deezie Doo. She loves it, and there's lots of variations on it, as well. It elicits some coos and grins if we say it in a syrup-y sweet way! it just reminded me of "boopy doopy doo". Do you watch that show, too?

Wow, no, "boopy doopy" just came out organically... I'll have to look into this show. It's funny -- dh tries to do boopy doopy and it doesn't get a smile for him. I told him he needs to get his own material.

I use the word 'googly' or 'googy' a lot: How's my googy baby? Where's my googly smile? He seems to love it! I'm sure I sound like a moron, but I stopped caring what other people think a looooong time ago.

"preeeeety baby" copying in his voice "ah-gooo"
Mr. Peepers/Poopers depending on the dipe situation.

Do you ever watch Miffy (on Noggin)?- we sing to the tune of the theme song:
Haakon-a sweet little baby
Haakon-a smart little baby
Haakon-a cute little baby
Haakon . .. AND FRIENDS!
he loves when his big bro. does that one.
still no laughs, but very animated smiles. I think a laugh is in the works by the end of this weekend!

Yep, we did this with A.J.! It's on in the morning only now (and I banned all morning tv), so we haven't done it with Nate's name...yet.
