Well my temp shot up today but I am also : so who knows. If I did in fact O there was no bding going on recently so now I am waiting for . No chance for me this month. I guess there is always a "chance" but lets just say I am FULLY expecting this month.
Holy cow you ladies are fast! Can I be added to the list under "waiting" or whatever the first catagory is? DS is 9 months and we were planning on starting to ttc as soon as he turned 1 in january, but it seems like I will be traveling through Jan and part of Feb so we are really starting in March. I have had no ppaf yet so we'll see if it's back by then. AF returned at 12 months with ds 1 but I was working 3 8hr days by then so we had a big no nursing block, which I'm not having this time so we shall see what happens......I'm also still tandem nursing.

weird ovary pain

I need some feedback girls. I still haven't had a PPAF but since nightweaning six weeks ago I have had some great fertility signs like every week. I know my body is trying to ovulate but I'm not temping so I don't know what's going on. i have been having something like ovulation pain for a week now. It's mostly on the right side and the only reason I know it is my ovary is because when I was TTC with ds I took clomid and had very painful O pain in the same spot. I have been bloated and had a few sort of twingy cramps. Why would it be like this for a week and could it be a cyst? I've never had a cyst before but I would think those are painful. This isn't painful, it just feels like a pinching sensation and it's stronger at sometimes. I have also thought about ectopic PG, I've never had one of those so I don't know how that would feel either but I can't be ovulating for a week. If you have any suggestions or experience I would appreciate it.

Please move me to 2WW--I'm actually 10 dpo, but I've been so busy with our recent move to post. I'm dying to test, but I only have two pg strips left! Plus my temp kind of fell this morning. I can wait a few more days, right?

Good luck this month, mamas!

Hi all,
I'd like to join in. I have a 2yo dd and this month will be my first cycle TTC #2. I am cd1 today, so waiting to O! I charted October as a warm up and O'd cd18. I got my first PPAF 17 months PP and have been very regular since. (10 months ago) In fact, my last 5 cycles have been exactly 30 days each! Charting is challenging with a co-sleeping, nursing 2yo, but my chart looks surprisingly good for all the eratic temp times. I'm hoping this is a good sign!

I'm very excited, because we were going to only have one child. Then DH suddenly changed his mind! Now, I've got serious baby fever. My first baby was very intense and her babyhood very difficult, so I have not been ready before now.

Looking forward to chatting with you all!

Hi Everyone,

I'm new here. Will start TTC #2 soon. AF right now. I have no idea how to track my cycle. I had my first AF since ds was born last month and this is only my 2nd AF since. My last cycle was 44 days. How do you suppose I know what CD I'm on or what days I'm going to ovulate?

Thanks!!!

Hi everyone
Can I join in? I don't know much about TTC or how to track my cycle either, but we would like to have another dc.

I have a ds who is going to be 2 (on sat!!!) and he is still nursing very well. I've had AF back since he was about 16 or 17 months old, and it seems to be pretty regular (and it's going on right now). Also, I'm 39 years old and dh is 44. Anyway, that's where we are at. Ds is our first (although I am a birthmom of a dd who is 19 now).

So, hello everyone!

Cool! Many of us newbies are cycling together! Hopefully lots of August 2007 babies.

To those who have questions about your cycle:
The website fertilityfriend.com has lots of useful info. You can chart your cycle free too. I also read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility." I think it's a good read just to be aware of what's going on with your body, even if you don't use FAM.

Good Luck everyone!

I usually have a 10 day LP, does that mean I can test on the 10th day or do I need to wait longer for a positive? It hasn't been that long since I've done this but I don't remember anything!!
I think this was already said, but to avoid a false negative, it's probably better to wait. Although there are tests that are accurate in 69% of women 4 days before their "missed period", which would mean at 10dpo. Take that for what it's worth. You could still get a false negative, but if you get a bfp then it's a really nice surprise, yk?

I'm plugging away here. CD...somewhere in the middle. Didn't O until day 28 last cycle, so I'm not looking for anything yet.

I've lost 30 lbs and counting!
I'm so sorry for your loss. I can see how it would be tough to see that on the list. In fact, I wondered about something like that happening, but we can't really do anything until someone tells us. I chose to mark the the pg was m/c'd, because I wanted to honor that experience. If you'd prefer to have it taken down, lmk. I know that sometimes I give two options and then realize that I'd prefer another, esp. wrt grieving.

I've got you listed in 'waiting to O'.

I moved you. Tender breasts are definitely sign of early pregnancy, but also a sign of AF. Is it common for you to have tender breasts with AF? I'm guessing no. I'm definitely starting to interpret everything as a sign of pregnancy. The 2ww is a serious mindtrip. I'm in my 2ww and my breasts are tender too, so hopefully all this booby irritation is a sign we're both getting bfns asap.

I just wish this nausea would go away - it's been 5 or 6 days now and it's really starting to tick me off! :

Too tired to write anything else....hoping dh gets home soon to help me carry sleeping children up to their beds! (They just kinda slept where they fell when we got home from t-o-ting! )
Hoping this next cycle is it for you!

Maybe a little BD just in case?

I added you. I didn't get af back after my one dd until 14 months, but she nursed much more than the average 14 month old because she didn't really eat any solids. For the first time in my life I O'd pretty regularly and had healthy menstrual fluid and pretty regular cycles. So 12 months doesn't sound like that unrealistic of a goal. It may take a tiny bit longer, but I think it's a great place to start. Perhaps when you're ready, you can take your kids out someplace fun all day, every day for a week and then go back to normal, and that will get things going. I know dd was one of those kids that nursed all day long if we were in a routine, but if I took her to the science center or something, she would go hours and make up for it later.

It doesn't sound like a cyst to me. If you are worried about ectopic pregnancy, POAS. If the pregnancy is far enough along to cause pain, you should definitely get a bfp on your test. It sounds to me more like things are getting started in the baby factory. Would it help you to start temping so that you can have a better idea what's going on?

You just joined! I put you in 'waiting to O' because I wasn't sure if this was the first pp egg you're trying to catch. Welcome!

I moved you I have decided that it's worth the expense, personally, to keep an expensive early test around for when I'm 10 or 12 dpo and just.can't.wait.anymore. Hope you find lots of fun things to occupy your remaining waiting days with!

Welcome to the group! I added you to 'waiting to O'. To figure out what day you're on, count the first day of your last period as CD1 and count up the days until now. You can start a chart at fertility friend if you want, and start filling in info from where you are now. There will be a blank-ish spot from CD1 until now, but that's okay. As far as figuring out what days you're likely to ovulate, I think the easiest way to do that is to start charting fertility signs. You can also start doing ovulation prediction tests (OPKs) to check for an LH surge, which would signify that you will likely ovulate in the next 24 to 48 hours. I recommend the dollar store kind because they won't break the bank. You can also order OPKs and cheap pregnancy tests online. Another way to figure out if you are going to O soon, is to get a spit test. It's basically a magnifying glass that you lick on one side and when the saliva dries you check for ferning patterns. You can also check your cervical fluid on them to check for ferning. Hope that helps!

Welp, my cervix is in position for AF. : I'm not out for sure, but I'm not feeling very hopeful.

Subbing~
Only a few days to go to see if af doesnt comes back! My nipples have also been incredibly sensitive while nursing so maybe thats a sign
Good luck to everyone for this month!!!! If youre like me I tend to get pregnant in the colder months where lots of cuddling takes place
post #34 of 513
g'day girls, and welcome to all the newbies!

We've got the pukies over here. ick. Good thing it's now and not in a week! Still hoping this cycle will be regular like the last...
Could you please add me to the TTC? However, I think I may even be in the two week wait also. I'm due for AF in a week (or 6 days).

I don't track my cycles but have begun trying to since October. I feel crampy, bloated and stuffy and even had a little sign of light AF (just a tad) last night. I think that may be because I ususally have a little of that one week prior to my AF. I am also taking Vitex because my cycles were off for almost a year before I learned about it.

I am currently still night/nap/morning nursing my recently turned 3 yo dd and we are way more than read to TTC again. I have a dh, ds 8 and dd 5. I do water home birth and wouldn't do it any other way! We also have a family bed and wear my babies

We started TTC at the last few weeks in Oct and are usually very fertile people. I am only wondering about me because of the horomone imbalance.

Way to go on the 30 lb loss Kriste!! You've lost how much I need to

AllinHisTime- I CP'ed the last thread's info to here and you were listed in the 2ww. Should I keep you there?

Welcome newbies! Hopefully your stay is short and sweet

Jill, yes well wishes to all of you!!

mamma_mia, good luck! It is not over yet!

naturegirl, hopefully you will be lucky this time. I heard one time of a pregnancy from BD one single time 5 days before O

"See' you tomorrow!

Thanks for the add Mamma Mia and the advice about Fertility Friend. I just signed up!

Thanks for welcoming us newbies Jillybeans and Carma. It's so nice to have a TTC community. I hope we all end up on the success stories list REALLY soon!!!

Please add me too. We are waiting to O which should be at the end of the week. We are ttc #2 but dh said no charting for now so we are kind of just waiting to see if it happens. Ds is 27 months.
Welcome newbies!!

Jillybeans: I hope your family gets better soon.

Kristy: Congrats on the weight loss

bruisergirl: Maybe the lower temp is an implantation dip. I'm no help with willpower. If it were me in the two week wait I'd be testing every day. I would just go to the store and buy more if I ran out
