~Nursing Mamas TTC in November~ - Page 26

Hmmm. I just tested this morning, with fmu (I’d gone to the bathroom 3 hours before, but it was the best I could do) and it was negative. I’m 14 DPO (or so I think.) Bummer! I’ll wait and test again in a few days but I don’t think it will show two lines…

So I’m a bit disappointed, and the thing is, DH is going on a long, long business trip in a week and we won’t be able to try for a while. That makes me sad.

But there are good things about this too. I told myself if I didn’t get pregnant this time, I’d spend the next couple of months really focusing on DD. I can continue to nurse her without worrying about losing my milk, and we can spend time together, just the two of us, with no sibling coming along, precious time when she’s still an only and I can give her my undivided attention. I’ll just enjoy this time with DD with no thoughts about another pregnancy. (Just like you, Aimee, I'm going to spend time relishing DD!)

So I’ll test again in a few days if AF doesn’t come, but I think I will be happy either way.

I hope to see lots of BFP’s from the rest of you soon!

Waiting... 8dpo...think I'll test on Saturday. Feeling nothing, no symptoms, no implantation. I really want to get it this cycle, because it's the last cycle when my EDD would be before my midwife is gone on vacation. I really don't want my EDD to be while she is gone or have her gone during late pregnancy. After that it's winter and it's harder to have a newborn in with the cold weather. I just really want an August baby, sigh... I know I can't control these things. Trying to have the "whatever will be, will be" attitude.

Good morning Momma's

I am happy to hear you are doing okay Aimee. ttc can be a long, hard, frustrating process for some. I hope yours will be a short and not too frustrating process.

Oka-san. Sorry about the BFP. Looks like there is a positive spin to it. What you said makes me thankful for what I have here with my little family.

So True! Good luck with later tests dantesmama!

Good luck KCMommy I had implantation bleeding with ds at about 10 days after O. It was a spotting type bleeding.

As far as temps staying up during . Many times they do stay up for the first couple of days but you could also test...I was pregnant with ds and SURE I was having ! I went into my naturopath and got on progesterone. He made it and is my little miracle man. Especially if you have a short lp, I would check.

I think I may be having annovulatory cycles. Temp jumped some today but still not post O temps. I don't think. I will just have to see how the next couple of temps are I guess...

I also don't get 3 hours straight very often. But I am also not up and out of bed so I try to take it at the same time every morning and usually I get 1-2 hours of sleep before I temp. Sometimes more. And so far they seem to be consistent. I think monitoring cf is maybe more accurate at times though. (still figuring it out as it is only my 2nd cycle charting temps since ds pregnancy!)

That's a really positive attitude to have. I try to remind myself that bfns are as much of a blessing as bfps, because a bfn means that my son will have me to himself a little longer.

11 dpo. (I know, it's still early!) I *thought* I felt implantation at 6dpo, and my temp jumped the next morning . . . AF is due Saturday so we'll see, I guess.

CONGRATS, JOSYBEAR!!! That's great!!!

congrats josybear! That's a very pretty line.

Oka-san: sorry about the bfn! I'm glad you can see the bright side.

Mia: what a hurtful thing to say to you. I have a SIL like that. I feel sorry for her. She doesn't know what she's missing.

aimee:

cheryl, i hope you aren't having anovs! Those suck. I'd rather have 10bfn's and know i had a shot than one anov.

carrie, You know i'm rooting for you. ONE of us has got to get pg! Sheesh, we're almost cycling together, the four of us!

I'm really trying to chill this cycle. Today is my baby's first birthday. I really wanted kids closer together, but i know that this time with her is going so fast, and she will get just me for that much longer. Hopefully i can keep this attitude till next testing time! (and hopefully no more 5day lps)

Naturegirl: I hope you're not having annovulatory cycles. I know they can be so frustrating. I hope you O soon.

Dantemama: Sorry about the bn, but as you said it's still very early

Jillybeans: : to your little girl! I hope you have a long enough LP this time.

MamaMia: She sounds like a very insensitive person. I hope you can distance yourself from her. TTC is stressful enough without her hurtful comments to add to it. to you

Aimee: Glad you're doing ok

Goodluck to all the mamas who are testing this weekend. : for you.

I'm very confused. I'm on cd14 and I have light spotting. My dh and I did bd a few days ago. Maybe an irritated cervix? I've never had this before. We've been trying for 11 months now and I've only had 3 ovulatory cycles. I'm not sure what's going on. My dd threw my thermometer behind the bed (along with a book I wasn't finished reading ) and I can't reach it, so not temping right now. I'm going to try to get to the store tonight to buy another one.
