Well, what's new? I'm back to work now. It's not quite as bad as I thought it would be, but I sure miss my boys!

Back to work already?!!? Wow, time has definitely been flying by! I went back to work when DD#1 was eight weeks old and it was so hard. I'm feeling glad I don't have to go to work now. Well, I will again some day, just not right now
Did anyone go trick-or-treating? Well, I guess the new babes didn't
but we went last Saturday with our older DD. It was so much fun! Her first official year of trick-or-treating. Now I get to argue with her every day about how much candy she can eat.
Eloise has gotten over some wierd fussiness a week ago and now is back to normal. Thank goodness! I had about 50 ounces or so of milk I had pumped since her birth and was able to donate it to another MDC mama. It felt really good to send it to a needy babe! I probably would have ended up dumping it out if I didn't give it away because there isn't THAT much need to give Eloise a bottle. She takes about 2-3 ounces from a bottle maybe a couple of times a week.

Nate is 3 months old with 2 teeth.
We went trickortreating last night and A.J. wanted to go again today
.
I'm getting ready to ship my second box of donor milk out
.
I just roasted the seeds from the 6 pumpkins that we carved yesterday.
And I'm trying to figure out how to afford birthday party gifts for all the parties the boys are being invited to now that they're both in preschool!

Cleo is 2 months now and rapidly outgrowing her 0-3 clothes, which is both exciting and sad, because she'll never fit into some of my favorite outfits again! (Wah! No more monkey pants!) We have her 2 month checkup tomorrow, and I can't wait to see how much she weighs. She has really picked up her vocalizing and smiling from once a day to 10 times a day, and she even smiles and coos spontaneously now without having me up in her face squeaking. Her scalp is kinda crusty, but otherwise she's absolutely perfect.
As for me, I had quite a scare Monday... found some weird little growths in my... eh... short n' curlies. Absolutely freaked out. Didn't know if it was something I picked up at the hospital, or something DH picked up at grappling, or something left over from being raped in high school. Had an emergency visit to the midwife, who diagnosed them as "old lady moles", even telling me that she gets them in her armpits. So, apparently, I have random old lady moles that are caused by estrogen and bleed like hell when pinched off. Great! Could be a lot worse, though. I guess i'm still the TMI girl, huh?
So. Um. November is great.

Otherwise, this boy keeps me hopping. He's always been one to be held -- not put down, not put in a car seat, not put in the sling or carrier, held. He tolerates the other stuff, but not for long. And even holding he wants in certain positions and up and walking around. I thought this was so cute, but now that he's something like 16 pounds, it's starting to take its toll on my back. I'm looking into a new carrier that will hopefully suit his desires. He's outgrown the other ones anyway.
Oh, we went to the chiropractor yesterday for me, and he screamed pretty much the whole time. He wanted to nurse, has been non-stop attached to my boob for two days now (a growth spurt, I think), but I NEEDED to get cracked, I was dying. So he had to suck it up (no pun intended) for a little while, and in the middle of his screaming the chiro gave him an adjustment. It's weird, it was just a light pop in his neck with the activator, but he's totally more straight now, both nursing and being carried. And talking about it with my chiro, I think my own crooked issues are what are causing Spike to go crooked! He's lining up with my body since he gets held so much. How weird is that? I'm trying to vary holding positions now.

Lol, Ian is still in newborn size clothes, 0-3 are still pretty big on him. But he is finally growing! He's gained 14 oz in the last 2 wks which for him is amazing! It puts him at 8lb 11oz as of earlier today.
He smiles and "talks" to us all the time and loves his big sister (except for her tickly hair when she tries to kiss him, he actively tries to avoid it). He's going through a stage where he doesn't want to sleep all the time, but he still isn't coordinated enough to really play either. So he gets bored and cranky, but I remember dd doing the same and know it will get better.

HEy! i think i have joined early enough to keep up!
Nathan has taken to not napping well... yesterday it was 20-30 mins every few hours. I broke down and drug out the swing
: He slept ofr 30 mins
Nursing is getting better for us, though it is still painful at times and my nips are always sore or at least super sensitive. ( I cant wear a shir w/o a bra OUCH!) I imagine it is still someof the thrush lingering...
Oh! He rolled over on saturday- belly to back. I think it was really a fluke but we all got to see it. It was so cute!
He is outgrowing 0-3 mths stuff too. Makes me sad. I doubt we will have more kids and i dont want to get rid of anything.
the_lissa- cant believe your babe is in 6-12 mths! that is awesome!
more later- guess who's awake!

We started EC-ing this week! Today is day four, and I think I may have missed as many pees as I have caught, but I'm planning on keeping it up until we get better at it. Stella is finally outgrowing her newborn/small dipes, so it seemed like a good time to start EC and I can see how many bigger dipes I should invest in. Anyone else ECing?
DH and I celebrated our third anniversary last night...newborn style. Instead of going out to our favorite restaurant, he picked up takeout pizza on his way home from work, and I dug out a tablecloth and some candles for the table. I even snuck in a shower, did my hair, and put on a skirt! That's a pretty big accomplishment these days! We looked at our wedding photo album and scrapbook, and reminisced while gazing at our dd. We're so in love with her!
Hard to believe she'll be walking and talking on our next anniversary!

Carolina is 8 weeks and such a sweet baby. She sleeps at least 5 hours during the night before waking me up to nurse and usually goes back to sleep for another 3-5. She's awake a few hours at a time now which is soo much fun! We laugh together and babble and talk and coo...AWWW ~ I'm going to miss this time so much! I'm ready for baby number two!
: We'll be waiting awhile for that though!~ I am excited for the next appointment with our fantastic doctor. It's in 3 weeks and I hope that she'll weigh 13 lbs by then. We'll see I guess! I haven't shown you ladies a pic yet, so here are two from halloween!

Carolina...I love your photos! I laughed out loud, and will definitely show dh when he gets home. It sounds like our babes are on the same sleeping schedule...it's so nice to have that one chunk of sleeping time and in the morning, I can get stuff done while she sleeps.
So i have to ask...any other mamas losing their hair like crazy? I am amazed by how much of my hair is falling out. I am keeping up with my dog for hair shedding around the house!
I know it's normal...but I guess I didn't realize how much my hair had thickened up while pg. I refuse to go in for a haircut/color till I stop shedding. If I'm paying for a haircut...I might as well wait till it's done falling out on it's own!

DD pees as soon as a put a new dipe on her and then screams for a few seconds! It's sooo cute. I hope that I'll learn her pee cues...they seem so often....Best of luck to you momma! So glad that you are EC -ing!!!
