re: Delta Airlines

Just read that (now locked) thread about a woman being kicked off of a Delta flight for nursing without covering up ... I just wanted to add that I flew Delta last month with my 2.5mo ds and nursed several times on both the departing and returning flights, without incident. I did not have a blanket over his head, though he was in a cushy sling and not much of me was exposed. However, there was another nursing mama a few rows back from me who was nursing her dc (while dc was in a Bjorn, no less!), completely uncovered.

No one said a word. And Delta was very accommodating both to me and seemingly to this other mama (who was traveling with two other small kids in tow besides the nursling) - we got plenty of space, preboarding, etc. I feel I was treated very well. Unlike the way I was treated on Southwest while 7mo pg (but that's a different thread). I just wanted everyone to know - the incident in question I think has everything to do with an ignorant flight attendant and nothing to do with the company.

That's great to hear as I am leaving early tom morning and flying with my 12month old nursling and my 3yrold dd by myself! Glad you had a good experience!
