What would you do if you were her?

Backstory, the cast members of this web comic have been shot with a beam that switched their bodies around. One of the characters has ended up in the body of a mama cat with 2 day old kittens.
Here's where they come home to hungry kittens.
And here's why I posted this to lactivism.

Sorry I'm a litle dense, is the mama cat trying to hint to the human that's what she should do?

No, no, no, sorry, the mama cat only speaks in meows, the one talking about getting formula isn't the mama cat. In the first comic I posted, the mama cat is the one who goes right up to the kittens and then sighs because she's in the wrong body and her kittens don't know her and if they did know her she wouldn't be able to feed them anyway. (Poor mama kitty!)

Still need to follow the link, but *duh* the body of the momma cat should be feeding those kittens, regardless of whom is inhabiting it at the moment. The cat in the human body wouldn't know formula from a cowmilk spill, let alone think to feed it to her infants.

Looks to me like that's what's going to happen in the second one.

I like the "they eat milk, like every other mammal..." bit.

Whoever wrote this has never had a cat who had kittens though. At 2 days of age, their eyes are still closed, and they are so not running around.

The cat and kittens aren't normal, she didn't so much birth them as replicate into them, they've been that developed for the past few months of the comic since they were born two days ago.

Yep, I figured most people here would automatically go towards nursing the kittens.

It's pretty cool that a person with no breastfeeding experience, no friends with children, nothing, who's be suddenly dropped into a strange body after a stressful week, and who was told that she had a choice chose to breastfeed the kittens.

The next comic is up and after the kittens are done nursing the girl in the mama cat's body looks right at the camera and asks "what would *you* have done?" Very much in a "nursing the kittens was the right thing to do" sort of way.
