Recent article on raw milk

What is cool is that I used to be a member of hedgebrook here in Virginia :P

What is scary is the power of the FDA and the government over our lives. If they can decree that raw milk is to "unsafe" to be sold for consumption, whats to stop them from declaring that meat for instance is unsafe? Personally, I do not trust the FDA at all. And this is just one glaring example of why. How can they be so arrogant as to deem it unsafe, when they are proven wrong by thousands of years of experience?

I've seen the article before. The part that actually struck a cord with me was when he spoke with the FDA folks and asked if they had ever had raw milk. Only one of them had. When she was asked if she had ever gotten sick she said then. Of course, then she quickly back peddals and insists that perhaps they were sick, but never attributed it to the raw milk.
