Disgusting comments left under my nursing photos

The link to my nursing photos is in my signature.

I am tandem nursing my 5 m/o and my 3 y/o. And I will continue to nurse both of them until they decide they don't need to anymore. That being said, someone left a pretty crude comment in my gallery, and I'm not sure what I want to do.

I responded with a comment, but I am not sure if I: 1) want to just leave the comments as they are, thereby showing her ignorance, 2) just delete the comments completely, 3) email her (she left her email) and try to educate her, or 4) email her and tell her to back off.

WWYD?

I would bet it's not a woman.

I would delete the comments and ignore it. People are ignorant and rude.

I think the pictures are beautiful!

Delete it. That's disgusting. Don't email her. She was trying to make you mad.

I had someone leave extremely nasty comments on my journal in response to a co sleeping pic of my dd and dh. I was really nasty right back in another post but afterwards I deleted the comments because it made me feel yucky. I wish I had just erased them t in hindsight because by getting all riled up I gave the poster exactly what they wanted- a reaction.

I'm so sorry someone was so nasty.

Another vote for delete and ignore. All that *UA violation* wants is attention.

I understand the urge to respond - I was :Puke
& when I read this I wanted to give this person a piece of my mind.

Hugs, Mama. Your pictures are beautiful.

Just deleate that horrible comment. That doesn't sound like something a parent would write. I think it's probably a teenager trying to be funny on here. Your pictures are beautiful. Nursing is such a wonderful positive experience. Don't let anyone take that away from you. Just deleate, and forget.

Delete the comments. I also doubt it was a woman. Whoever it was doesn't know much about breastfeeding.

Great pics by the way.

Ewwwwww!
I too think it's some dude perv. Ugh. Much as I'd be motivated to give them a piece of my mind, I wouldn't. Great way to pick up a cyber stalker. I would delete the comment.

You and your family are just beautiful!

Delete it, it's perverted. (ETA that I think the tandum nursing of the dolls is just so cute!)

your photos are beautiful. how terrible that so many people just see breasts as sexual objects.
OMG!!!! : Horrible. Is there somewhere you can report that??

I left a comment.
your images are really wonderful

your pictures are BEAUTIFUL! delete that comment and don't give it another thought!

Anyone who'd look at a mama nursing her babies and see something sexual, has issues of their own to deal with which no comment on any blog are going to be able to fix. Maybe, years of therapy. Even my husband, who has never been around nursing babies (and neither have I, for that matter, much to my dismay), just laughed at the ridiculousness of that person!

I loved the picture of your little one nursing her baby dolls.

I'd delete the rude comment. It doesn't matter if it was left by a perverted woman or a perverted man (both exist!) but the comments are innapropriate and should be removed.

The only question left is whether or not to delete the comments refuting the gross comment. Can you edit the comments, or just delete them?

Maybe delete the gross comment AND the ones responding to it, but email the people who refuted her comments to make new comments about the photos, without the response to the pervert.

Those are gorgeous pictures, and I'm very sorry someone had the audacity to say something so totally inappropriate.

I would just delete it.

Thank you, everyone. I think I'll edit the comment, delete my reaction, and leave it at that.

I really appreciate the insights.

BEAUTIFUL photos! I'm a little jealous - my nursing photos are absolutely nothing to write home about. You're so lucky!

I agree with all the PPs I just wanted to add that your pictures are beautiful and magical!
