Let the weird eating begin

My gosh, I think I could eat non-stop. I never seem to get full. I'm eating healthy - but tons! This morning started out with a frosted flake/flax flakes mix an hour or so later I was hitting up the leftovers, chinese chicken, veggies and wheat noodles, cheese, pickles and milk and while I'm eating I'm thinking "hmmm, wonder what I should cook today". Anyone else feel simply ravenous?

I don't feel much like eating when I'm pregnant usually. I DID shock myself the other day though by eating almost half a jar of pickles!!!!

Reading your post made my stomach turn. I'm not eating much. The wierd eating thing with me is that I'll figure out what sounds pretty good, get through half of it and my stomach turns. It is so annoying.

Sorry didn't mean to make anyone feel yuckky. I did the halfway through thing w/ dd2, it does get old quick and makes eating out kind of hard too (I wasted tons of food pg w/her).

Oh, don't feel bad! I was just teasing. I did have to skim through the list of food but it's okay.

Yes, I'm eating non-stop. I feel like I can't go out because I'm chained to my fridge. The food tastes so good going down but then 10 minutes later I'm nauseous. And an hour later I'm starving again. It's getting old fast. I'm not usually motivated by food, but it's all I'm thinking about. Oh, and cravings! What is everyone craving? I had to have chicken mole yesterday, just had to have it .

I haven't had much of an appetite being cause of the nausea... I do get random, intense hungry pains, but when I try to eat, everything sounds gross.

I've been craving ginger snaps, though. DH got me some, mm.

I read these and think I'm not doing much weird about food... but yesterday I came up with excuses to drive three hours to where we used to live to go grocery shopping I'm feeling a little more queasy today; nothing overwhelming, just a little icky. and when I stop long enough to notice, I'm not going very long between eating spells either I think I'm pretty deep in denial I have been eating things I normally don't, like hot dogs, because I feel like I need a fast protein fix. in fact, that's the main reason I drove so far-- to get all natural hot dogs! ok, maybe I am doing weird things after all...

Anyone else with this (started yesterday for me) . . . lots of things, especially fruity kind of things, have a really bitter medicine taste. :

I couldnt even read this post

because the nausea seems to be always looming over me. : Oh well, its worth it for the babe. So, I am posting here because I cannot for the life of me eat a vegetable. It is soo horrible. I normally eat a salad and steamed veg with dinner but I havent been able to take a bite or even think about vegetables since Monday. I have been seeing the consequences of this in major bloat and constipation. : I hope I can start eating them sometime soon. I even tried to eat some tabouli from my favorite lebanese restaurant and I took one bite and lost all ability to eat dinner.

I could've written this post with my last pg... and dd turned out fine even though all I ate in the first trimester was pizza, Annie's mac and cheese, and other assorted processed foods : They WERE "all natural" though, so I guess it's good they weren't the MSG-laden crap... Anything not processed made me want to hurl. Not so thus far, but I was 7 weeks along when I found out I was pg with dd so it may just not have hit yet :

love and peace.

Just hit me yesterday and it was dinner time- I was on an all day course that finishes at 6 and just kept eating everynone else's leftovers. The funny thing is that they don't know I'm pg yet so I'm just playing this pig who will eat anything they have to give me and not feel rude about saying something doesn't appeal to me. I ate a wholesome chewy bar, a granola bar, someone's sandwich and offered myself someone's water. I refused some indian sweets saying I didn't feel like them. I think I'm building myself quite the reputation!

We went to a dinner last night and I ate all of my food, most of dh's, one of my girl friend's, stole her dh's chicken when he went to get another drink then 2 pieces of cake!
With both of my other pg, I was on Phenergan from the 5th week until week 16 because that was the only way to keep me out of the hospital with hyperemesis gravidarum . It sucked!
This time, I am eating a lot! And, I am trying to stick to the Bradley diet and that is a lot of food to eat in one day!

This morning I decided to have a fried egg on top of a bowl of grits. That's never even occurred to me before, but it was really good! The yolk mixed in with the buttery grits was awesome.
