shorter menstrual cycle

Hi,

I delivered twins a year ago - normal healthy pregnancy; ceserean delivery.

I stopped breastfeeding around 8 months and had my periods were about 26-27 days apart. Before this, they were always 28 - like clockwork. This last one was 23 days!!!!

I am wondering what is up with that? Has anyone experienced this? I do have a lot of stress in my life lately which could be a factor; but it still seems weird. I want to have more kids; and I'm kind of a maniac about these things, so ... any input?

Thank you!

I honestly would not worry about it. Sometimes it takes longer for the body to get back to normal especially since you were breastfeeding. Your period sounds like it is pretty regular, yes some months might be shorter or longer than others and other factors especially stress can cause changes. But as long as you get a monthly flow you should be good. I would only worry if I have not seen a menstrual period in months and am not pregnant.
