Just wanted to say "hello" I just checked this forum out and posted on two threads and I am so glad to have found this forum. I am 37w pregnant and I have been struggling with anxiety and depression with no meds. I am actual more stable now than I have ever been. I have been seeing an awesome therapist for a few months to finally address my childhood abuse. I have been struggling with depression since childhood and I am very worried about PPD. Thanks to eveyone for being here!

My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...

This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

Welcome to this forum! It does not seem to be as active as some others, for what it's worth. I bet folks with a year seniority and 500 posts are over in a certain other forum! (gr)
How to respond to your situation? It must be very annoying not be able (or willing) to rely on meds. I'm sure you have moments of feeling torn. Are they safe to use while BFing? In terms of the worry you attribute to DH re being "okay" when the baby comes...while I have yet to have my own, all of my friends who have describe their life as having a big red line before and after kids. In other words, while of course those of us who have struggled with depression may be more susceptible to, e.g., PPD than the average bear, I don't think it is a 100% accurate predictor. You're whole life is about to change! For the better!! I am so happy for you -- you could have a babe in arms any day now! That is wonderful news -- certainly fodder for worries (DH says that a reservation about having children together is that I will become an even bigger worrywort and he doesn't think that is possible LOL) but also a source of great joy.

Welcome! I'm glad you're here, and the fact that you're aware that you are succeptible to PPD and know the signs to look out for means you're waaaay ahead of the game! And congrats to working so hard with your therapist - that is awesome. Keep up the great work!
