SOOOOOOO YES!

I am pg with #2 now and dd must sense something is up, because she is a piece of velcro. A 25 lb piece of velcro! All she wants to do is poke and stroke and play with my very tender boobs :

I want to run for the hills by the time dh gets home!

I can totally commiserate...
I have been pregnant and/or breastfeeding for nearly 4 years straight. I remember when I was preg it always seemed like I had to be jumped on, especially when I would be trying to take a nap. I too would go running when Dh got home. Now, after nursing a lil one all day and giving everything I have to give to all three of my boys, when Dh gets home I'm like "HERE!" It goes away -usually I need a good nap or nights sleep to be prepared for another full day, or sometimes just hide in the bathroom for five minutes which does the trick.

TOUCHED

I HEAR YA SOMETIMES I JUST WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE. IT DOESNT MEAN U LOVE THEM ANY LESS. ITS TOUGH TO GET TIME TO YOURSELF EVEN WUTH THE BEST HUSBAND AND FAMILY.

you are certainly not alone. i was not cuddled much as a kid so i fluctuate between wanting to cuddle and kiss and wear my guys and wanting to sit in the corner by myself or in a bath with the door locked after dh is home. they learn not to take it personally...that mom just does not feel well and needs a little time out. good luck

It is a normal response. It is a sensory overload type of situation in which you receive way too much touch and feel stimulation.

Mothers typically suffer from this when their little ones need so much attention and they give it to them and then DH needs some attention too.

I do go through stages of where i don't want to get touched. I feel bad though because it's just me and my son.

My cats get the brunt of this. I used to love it when my furry babies would crawl on my lap and pur and shed all over me. Now I can't stand it. I feel bad. They were at the heart of the familiy for 4 years or so, now they've been uprooted. I just can't handle being handled by the four legged after having the two legged all day.
