I'm not quite sure what you mean "...is NO??", but I saw a show on tv about birth and one was dedicated to people who had babies during Katrina. They said they loaded preemies with travel vents, as best they could, or some with plain hand-bagging because they couldn't afford the room for all the equipment on these medivacs and rushed them to the nearest hospital that could. One mother had no idea where her baby had been transfered to for quite some time. She was understandably worried!

Adara was born 8/9/06 at 33w3d weighing in at 1864 grams (4lbs 1.7oz) as of last Tuesday she's already in the 20% for her actual age at a whopping 12 lbs 5 ounces - what a chunk!

I'm a little late to this thread. DH and I are parents to micropreemie twins, one survivor, one angel. Our angel was born at 23w3d, weighing 1lb5oz & 12 inches. He passed before making it to the NICU. My survivor, Kyle was born at 23w6d, weighing 1lb1oz and 11.5". Kyle spent 6.5 mo in the NICU between two hospitals. The boys were delivered in Springfield, IL while we were visiting family for Christmas. We had Kyle transfered closer to home after 4.5mo, where he spent 2mo in that hospital.
