Aislyn Cynthia Sims has arrived on the planet!

5:04 a.m. on November 4th after 11 intense hours of labor
'll be writing more later but this is it in a nutshell. I had an routine appt Friday and my OB wanted to check my amnio fluid levels. They did and were very very low so I was sent for an NST. On the NST there was a big concern about her heart rate - I was contracting and her heart rate was dropping very low, so I was induced by breaking the waters. Back labor was soo very intesnse for me and I was exhausted so I did give in to an epidural. She presented occipital (sp?) posterior. I honestly don't know if I could have pushed her out vaginally without the meds. Because of the presentation my cervix was torn, along with the outside and I did hemmorage but am fine now. She did also come out cord around neck which they think was why her heart rate was dropping with contractions.
Anyways - wow! what a ride. My experience didn't go according to plans - but such is life. She is beautiful and nursing and we love her so much!!
