I also believe you should birth where you will feel comfortable.

What about just fixing up one room (yours) for the birth? Clear away the clutter in that room, paint, and you will be suprised how much better everything looks in candlelight!

Ya, I have to say I do agree- lately I've been thinking when I get into that pre-orgasm and post-orgasm state of shutting down to the outside world- I think that that is EXACTLY what it felt like during my birth. And you're right- privacy seems it would be paramount during birth- but also when you're in that state- does it occur to you? That's sort of indirect, just thinking about it myself. I guess my post also brings up a lot of issues surrounding birth.
