Cyst on overy's while pregnant?

I just found out on Thursday I have a cyst on my right overy
I am about 8 weeks pregant and worried about it.
Has anyone ever had a cyst during pregnancy and no other complications?

The midwife said they are common during pregnancy and most of the time the body will absorb it with in a few months.

They had though I had a cyst when I ovulated the month I got pregnant bacause I had bad pains. And I had to go for an ultra sound to have it checked out. The ultra sound showed no cyst. or sign of one. So I don't know what to think..

I was told during a pregnancy of mine, that a cyst on the ovary is normal. It is called a chorionic cyst and develops in order to produce hormones needed to maintain the pregnancy until the placenta can do it alone. Mine was not a large cyst and it was noted during an ultrasound visit. Perhaps this is all that is present for you as well. Hope that helps - N
