Help! I need to organize a resume to become a WIC bfing peer!

What should I include??? Past regular work history? I know they want past breastfeeding history too....I'm confused! This isn't a regular kind of job, ya know? Maybe some work history and a brief story about the struggles and experiences I've had??? : I don't even know if this is the right forum for this thread.... mods please move if I'd get better ideas elsewhere! :

My thoughts:

You definitely need an objective. Traditional resumes are split on the inclusion of an objective, but for this, I think you should have one.

I would then include under experience, how many children you've nursed, for how long, exclusively, etc. Include things like obstacles you've overcome and any special nursing situations (like pumping) you've dealt with.

Under training, you can include a list of the books you've read, attending LLL meetings, and online research here.

Under other experience, you can include your traditional employment history, mainly to show that you're reliable and professional.

Do you have to send in a resume? I just went to the office and filled out an application. It might make it seem a little less intimidating to simply fill out an application.
