RIC extends life span?

I'm sure this is bunk one way or another, but I remember hearing when I was younger that circumcised men live longer than normal men.

I'm wondering if that was purely a word-of-mouth myth, or if there was a research paper that claimed such. And if the latter, does anyone know what paper that was?

If it was a research paper, I can't help but wonder if their sample was the USA + non-mutilating third world countries. :-P

I remember seeing something about them living 10 days longer but don't remember where . . . .

It just seemed like it.

It will make you live longer, get us out of Iraq, saves the whales & your immortal soul, will put a man on Mars, solves the National Debt, does the laundry, & cures hangovers.

Sigh. Did I forget anything? Ah yes, inspires profound poetry & art.

Sorry, Blarg, no, I didn't hear that one.

Yes, the wonderful poetry of Edgar Schoen, the circumfetishist who thinks that ALL boys (probably ALL babies if he had his way) should be circumcised at birth as tightly as possible!

If you talk to some of these doctors, I wouldn't be surprised if they believe that.

You forgot saving a man from alien abduction.....

Ah yes, poetry from the bow-tie, enough to induce :Puke

Sorry, Blarg, I haven't heard that one either, and I thought I've heard a lot of justifications. That's just wacky!:

I hadn't heard that one either, but I am not the least bit surprised. Didn't we all know that cutting the foreskin off an infant solves ALL THE WORLDS PROBLEMS?

Oh and cutting it off later per the request of the person attached to the penis doesn't provide nearly the problem solving abilities!

who comes up with this stuff? really.

Why can't reality hit people? It's not the cure nor the cause for every ill in the world

It makes clean water in Africa & solves overpopulation in China, it lowers the boiling point of water, reduced the rate of postage, & made my missing cat come home! Truly a wondrous gift to mankind!
